OASIS Intergenerational Tutoring

OASIS trains and places adult tutors with children in grades K - 4th who read below grade level. For the 2014-15 school year, we have over 150 volunteers working in 37 schools with close to 200 students (grades K-4) with one-to-one tutoring to improve their reading skills.

Join the OASIS Tutoring Team!

If you would like to be part of an extraordinary group of mentors helping local elementary schoolchildren with their reading skills, then the OASIS Intergenerational Tutoring Program is for you.

We ask you to commit to one hour, one day a week during the school year. You may choose the school where you wish to tutor and we will train you!

Training for Rio Rancho Public Schools is Tuesday August 25, 2015.
Training for Albuquerque Public Schools is Tuesday September 1 or Thursday September 3, 2015.
You must have a reservation to attend one of the trainings.
