2500 tutors for 25 years of tutoring

St Louis OASIS works to provide additional support to kids throughout the region for 2014-15 school year

As we celebrate our 25th anniversary of OASIS Tutoring in the St. Louis region, we're working to hit a milestone goal. We are looking to sign up 2,500 tutors by September 30 to work in St. Louis area schools as part of our OASIS Intergenerational Tutoring program.

New school year excitement never fades, even long after graduation

This time of year I can’t help but start thinking about going back to school, and how much I looked forward to that when I was a kid. OASIS tutors have many reasons for both choosing to tutor, AND where they want to tutor. Perhaps they want to complete the circle, and come back to their neighborhood school.

CATCHing a great little moment while volunteering

As a volunteer for CATCH Healthy Habits in Portland, Maine, I hear about these little victories from my colleagues who feel that they benefit just as much as the kids.
