Volunteers needed for tutoring in Albany

If you love to read, here's your opportunity to share that love with children in grades K-4, at three schools in the City School District of Albany - Arbor Hill Elementary, Sheridan Preparatory Academy, and Schuyler Achievement Academy.

OASIS provides the training and materials you will need to become an intergenerational tutor. The City School District of Albany has a volunteer application process that all tutors must complete, which includes a background check.

Learn more about tutoring.

OASIS collaborates with The University at Albany/The Center for Excellence in Aging and Community Wellness to offer programs for adults 50 and older, like intergenerational tutoring. For more information about the Center, visit http://ceacw.org.
