OASIS serves the Broward County Community

Do want to learn more about computers?

OASIS has partnered with the Broward County Public Library and Senior Volunteer Services to offer OASIS Connections computer classes, a proven program specifically designed to help mature adults develop the skills and confidence to use technology in their personal lives and at work.
The Broward County Public Library offers computer classes for older adults in the following branch locations. Class schedules are published monthly on the library website.
OASIS is a national educational organization offering opportunities for adults age 50 plus to learn, grow and serve.

Volunteer Opportunities

You can help older adults keep up with today's technology.

We need your talents!  Become an instructor or facilitator for technology programs.  We need volunteers to teach computer classes, and to serve as teacher assistants or lab coaches.
A good working knowledge of the computer is important, but you don't need to be an expert; your enthusiasm and patience are what matter most!
