Reviving Antiquities Tour: Private St. Louis Art Museum Tour
Reviving Antiquity: Works by Francois-Andre Vincent, Harriet Hosmer and Giovanni Battista Piranesi are among six recent acquisitions to the St. Louis Art Museum's collection. The exhibition highlights the interest of 18th- and 19th-century painters and sculptors in the art of ancient Rome.

Westward Migration and Settlement: Martin F. Hanley Came for the Land
Sarah Umlauf, Hanley House Docent and City of Clayton Community Resource Director
Martin Hanley, one of the early settlers in what is now Clayton, hailed from Virginia. This lecture will examine the reasons for Virginia's exodus during the late 18th century and early 19th century and discuss the Virginian experience in Missouri.
