News about OASIS’s Upcoming Move

We look forward to seeing you during our next term at OASIS. In Spring of 2014, we will be leaving Macy’s in Coronado and moving into a new space. Macy’s has given us the generous gift of pro bono space for many years, and we understand their need to expand.

As of this writing, we have not yet found our new “home.” Rest assured that we do not plan any down time, and you will be kept informed in plenty of time if your classes are moved to a new location.

We look at this move as an opportunity to recognize our own success and growth: nearly half of our presentations cannot fit into our present classroom, and our next home will be comfortable for all our participants.

We need the resources to prepare for this challenging transition year and ongoing costs of our new site. We have only raised the basic class fee by $1. But class fees alone provide only 60% of our (pre-move) budget. We depend on our annual giving campaign to support our lifelong learning, the Intergenerational Tutoring Program, and the Veterans History Program.

The simplest way to make a gift is by credit card or check through the mail or by phone (505) 889-0927. Donating appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual funds is quick and simple. You can also donate online by clicking on “Support OASIS.”

More than ever, every gift counts. Please give generously to Albuquerque OASIS.

Thank you for your support.

Warm regards,
Michael Nutkiewicz, PhD
Executive Director
