Research Shows Connections Curriculum Succeeds in Teaching Computer Skills to Older Adults
 Computer illiteracy among older adults – an increasingly important disadvantage as communications become more computer-dependent – is being successfully addressed through a custom-designed curriculum by OASIS, a new study by the University of Miami School of Medicine shows.

Los Angeles, CA - Pacific Region OASIS said Wednesday that it received a $100,000 grant from the California Community Foundation to provide lifelong learning opportunities to older adults in the Greater Los Angeles region. The funding will be shared between the Baldwin Hills OASIS and the Lakewood/Long Beach OASIS centers. |
