Active Start Toolkit
Active Start is a unique program for adults over 50 who are inactive and do not feel confident about starting an exercise program. Participants learn ways to be active in their daily lives, and behavior change strategies to help maintain their new healthy habits. After completing the program, participants have greater confidence and improved physical abilities, inspiring them to join other physical activity programs.
The Active Start Toolkit is a guide for agencies and professionals who would like to introduce this evidence-based program in their communities. More about Active Start.
