Prepared Instructors = Better Student Outcomes
The OASIS Institute provides monthly webinars for new instructors to learn strategies for success in the classroom. Information includes:
- how adults learn
- characteristics of Connections participants
- the elements that make our classes effective
- resources available to you
- key points of teaching classes
- instructor expectations
- the process for becoming a certified Connections Instructor
If you are working with an OASIS center or partner to teach technology classes, we invite you to sign up for training. You can participate from anyplace that you have a telephone and a computer connected to the Internet. The webinar will run from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm Central time, with a break from 12:30 - 1:30.
