OASIS iPad Event

Sylvia Cazares learns how to navigate her iPad at the free iPad event held at San Antonio OASIS on Wednesday October 23rd. Thanks to the employees of AT&T, OASIS members had 30 minute one-on-one coaching sessions with the AT&T experts to ask their many iPad questions. Feedback was excellent as members described their satisfaction with the coaches. "Through their patience, I learned how to better use my iPad," says Gloria Jennings, one of the participants. Thanks again AT&T for helping our seniors "rev up" on their technology skills!

Volunteers are the heart and soul of the program. We are grateful for the time, energy and commitment of our dedicated group of volunteers.

Would you like to make a difference in the life of a child who is struggling to read? We are seeking adults age 50 and over to work one-on-one with a child in first, second or third grade for one hour a week to improve reading skills and build self-esteem.

For more information about our program or to sign up, please contact our Intergenerational Programs Coordinator, Marly Flores, at 236-5954.
