The Institute received more than 260 entries for the contest, reflecting an abundance of talent, creativity and perspective on the meaning of OASIS. The selection committee chose 29 entries for honorable mention; you can see them here.

Carole Taylor submitted the winning entry entitled "Paths to Learning." Taylor has experimented with abstract styles for 15 years and took a course in abstract painting at Tucson OASIS. She is also a peer counselor with the Person to Person program through OASIS and TMC Healthcare.

CaroleTaylor Asked to share her thoughts about painting, Taylor says, "Trust your instincts and paint with your heart. Sometimes its just like magic in your fingers!"

Thanks to all who submitted artwork for the contest!
