The New Washington Park OASIS Center Celebratioin

Forty new members joined OASIS on Tuesday, October 28th, during the Washington Park open house, and about 300 present and future members enjoyed a variety of activities which included:

  • A classroom demonstration of NIA (a fitness practice) by Robin Cora and several students.
  • Art projects led by Linda Stobbs, an instructor of various painting classes.
  • Tom Weakley in the computer area explained the variety of computer classes available to OASIS members.
  • Beautiful music by John Skaggs which provided a festive background to the gathering.
  • Refreshments served by numerous Washington Park volunteers.
