You do not need to be an expert - patience and enthusiasm are what matter most. We train you and provide the course materials.   Mr. Fix-it and Clean-it Work at the center one or two half days a week, helping to do tasks that female staff and volunteers can't.   Intergenerational Tutoring Help a child learn to read and get a better start in school.   Navigator Program A Navigator Volunteer is responsible for contacting inactive OASIS members by phone to make a personal connection, update contact information, and rekindle interest in OASIS by promoting classes and volunteer opportunities.   Education Center Volunteers Assist in the daily operations of the OASIS center.   Instructors Share your knowledge with OASIS members as you teach a class in a subject for which you have a passion.   Computer Volunteers Enter information in the OASIS database.   Speakers Bureau Ambassadors Represent OASIS to the public.   Special Events Plan and execute OASIS special events   Tutor Coordinator Assistant Help with management and coordination of the tutoring program   Tutor Mentor Support fellow tutors in the school where you volunteer as a tutor.   Tutor Library Maintain and manage a library of resources for OASIS tutors.   OASIS Classroom Reader Share your love of reading by reading to a classroom of children throughout the school year.   Brochure Distributor Spread the word about OASIS by delivering catalogs and brochures to various locations around town.   Proofing Committee These individuals will be responsible for proofing the catalog three times a year.   Computer Aides Classroom assistant   Annual Planning Team Annual Planning Team   Registration Crew Help members register for classes.   Curriculum Committee Help research and plan programming schedule for upcoming catalog   Copyright © 2008.
