Oasis Albuquerque is the recipient of a BCBSNM Healthy Kids, Healthy Families® grant for $40,000 to support falls prevention programs offered at Oasis Albuquerque, including Better Balance, Tai Ji Quan for Better Balance, Tai Chi for Health, and A Matter of Balance. These offerings focus on two priority areas: increasing physical activity through effective, age-appropriate exercise programs and avoiding falls through fall risk awareness and reduction.

Oasis Executive Director Kathleen Raskob commented, "Oasis Albuquerque has been able to enrich and expand health and wellness programming as a result of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico’s support. We are extremely grateful for their support."

We hope you will join us for one or more of these wonderful, effective classes, offered at low or no cost thanks to support from BCBSNM.
