Volunteers are needed to teach classes.  You do not need to be an expert - patience and enthusiasm are what matter most. We train you and provide the course materials.

Intergenerational Tutoring

Share your love of reading as you help a child develop a positive self image and a motivation to read and communicate.

Oasis has partnered with the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council, the Pittsburgh Public Schools and Woodland Hills School District to support OASIS tutoring in Pittsburgh. Volunteers tutor children one-on-one.
