Tom and Ann Stafford give to Oasis because they love the classes and want to ensure that tutoring thrives in their community.
Every time she registers for classes at Indianapolis Oasis, Barbara Bluiett makes a registration gift. It's an easy way to remember to keep supporting a program she loves.
By establishing an educational endowment fund, Elinor Spring-Mills is sharing Oasis with others.
“I can certainly say that my life has gotten better since becoming a member of Oasis,” says Thelma Willis of St. Louis, who donates to the Friends of Oasis campaign each year. “I have learned more about myself and how to keep my body and mind healthy.”
“We all need to leave our world better than we found it and I can’t think of a better way to give back,” Sandra says. Sandra feels that seniors are the most neglected population. A generous current and legacy donor, Sandra has named San Diego Oasis in her will and in a charitable remainder trust.
“Mom set the bar pretty high for engagement and activity after retirement,” says Gilda Garcia. “She told us, ‘These are the best years of my life.’" Carmen Garcia's family honored her memory with a gift to San Antonio Oasis.
“Oasis adds a lot of good to the community, and there are many who need these vital programs,” says Dick Priest. He and his wife Karen are including St. Louis Oasis in their wills.
“I donate twice a year during each of the major fundraisers because I love Oasis,” says Joyce Siegel of Rockville, MD. “I see how phenomenally the programs have grown and I want this momentum to continue.”
“Every time a new catalog comes out, there are new things I want to try,” says Ricki Milne of Los Angeles. "I really appreciate all that Oasis has to offer. By giving monthly, I can give a little more."
