After many months of diligent searching, we are ready to make the announcement about our new home for Spring 2017 and beyond. Join Simona at a Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, 11/16, at 2:30 pm for all the details. Please register here. Vienna Boys’ Choir at Segerstrom, Sat, 12/3. Travel with us to the amazing Segerstrom Concert Hall where we’ll hear the angelic voices of the Vienna Boys Choir in a special program that features classical masterpieces and holiday favorites!

Sleep, Light and Your Health – Mon, 11/14, 10 am.  Dr Philip Goscienski discusses the significance both light and sleep play in our abilities to adjust, adapt, survive and thrive.

Start-Up Yoga – Wednesday, 11/16, 11am.  Certified Yoga instructor Linda Kay Brock introduces basic yoga poses that gently stretch muscles, relax the body, and quiet the mind.  Perfect for first time yoga students.

iPad 4: Working with Photos – Thu, 11/7, 1 pm @ San Marcos Senior Ctr.  Computer whiz Miles Smith covers the creative aspects of your iPad with lecture, demonstrations, and time for hands-on practice.

Folk to Folk Rock – Fri, 11/18, 12:30 pm.  Musician Nathan Smith explores the softer side of music which contributed to Rock & Roll.  Remember The Kingston Trio, Peter, Paul & Mary, Arlo Guthrie, just to name a few?

Beyond Basic Zentangle  – Mon, 11/21, 10 am @ San Marcos Senior Ctr. Certified Zentangle instructor takes you beyond the basics to new, complex patterns. Completion of Introduction to Zentangle is required.

Creative Cards for the Holidays – Tue,11/29, 10 am.  Make three different cards using various techniques and folds. There is a $6 material fee due at the beginning of class.

Living Trusts and Power of Attorney – Wed, 11/30, 1 pm. Attorney Schwartz discusses the advantages and disadvantages of trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advanced directives and conservatorships.

Get Fit and Stay Strong – Mon, 12/1. Use bands, weights and stability balls to increase bone density, core strength, endurance and balance.

iPad 5: Connecting – Thu, 12/1, 1 pm@ San Marcos Senior Ctr. Connect your iPad to printers, PC’s, Macs and TVs and sharing of files.  Includes hands-on practice time in addition to lecture.

The Mythology of Christmas – Fri, 12/2,1 pm @ Ramona Comm Library. Peter Bolland explores the myriad of cultures and traditions through the ages and throughout the world that have become the familiar images, icons and songs that we enjoy today.

Miscellaneous Readings – Mon, 12/5, 2 pm.Rev. Linda Glas presents this special reading class. Pick from past lives, communicating with the dead (bring a picture), present & future psychic readings, chakras, etc.

Zumba for Boomers – Mon,12/5, 7:15 pm. Licensed Instructor Lynn Morgan has developed a program with Baby Boomers in mind, both in physical level and music. Beginners welcome! 

Healthy Holiday Nutrition – Thu,12/8,1 pm @ Pomerado Outpatient Pavillion. Janice Baker, Registered Dietician/Nutritionist & Certified Diabetes Educator, presents realistic strategies for healthful eating habits, weight management and fitness. 

Rhythm & Blues from the 50’s & 60”s – Fri, 12/9, 12:30 pm. Musician Nathan Smith takes you on a journey from Muscle Shoals, AL to Detroit, MI where Motown was born, with your favorite R&B artists of the 50’s & 60’s.

Eating Ethnoid – Mon,12-12, 10 am. Dr. Goscienski will discusses what is really eaten in the “Old Country” and how to make wise choices when dining out.

Causes and Natural Solutions for Arthritis –  Wed, 12-14, 1:30 pm.  Dr. Rickards, DC discusses natural solutions for treating arthritis.
