Looking for Safe, Reliable Transportation?
Lack of safe, affordable transportation for seniors is a problem recognized at the national, state, and local levels. Here in San Diego, there are more than 50,000 older adults for whom access to transportation is a daily concern. Compared with those who still drive, older non-drivers make 15% fewer visits to the doctor, 59% fewer outings to shopping and restaurants, and 65% fewer trips to social, family, and religious activities (American Public Transportation Association). For an older adult who no longer drives, On the Go is more than a ride—it’s independence, connection, and the ability to live with dignity in the community they love.
