The Give65 Event is just days away!

The GIVE65 Event
(a program of Home Instead Senior Care Foundation)
officially kicks off July 10 and runs through July 12

San Diego Oasis is excited to have the opportunity to receive up to $5,000 in matching funds from Home Instead Senior Care Foundation during this year’s GIVE65 Event. In order to receive these matching dollars, we’re encouraging donors to give as early as possible.

While the GIVE65 Event officially kicks off at 7:00 AM (CDT) on July 10, we can start accepting scheduled donations on July 1 through July 9. All scheduled donations will be processed on July 10.

Your donation can help us win financial rewards

The annual GIVE65 Event gives us a unique opportunity to compete with other participating nonprofit organizations for an extra $10,000 in financial rewards, which will be awarded to the nonprofit that raises the most money, and an additional $10,000 will be awarded to the nonprofit with the greatest number of donors.

We can only win one of these rewards, but it is $10,000!

There are three levels of these financial rewards, which means we will be competing with organizations similar to us in size.

Visit GIVE65.org and enter San Diego Oasis in the search bar to find us, or visit www.give65.org/SanDiegoOasis.

Our Goal is $10,000

These funds will significantly improve our Intergenerational Tutoring Program by allowing us to improve our training and teaching resources, expand our reach in the county, and provide more “to keep” books for these at-risk students. Join us in investing in their reading skills, their self-confidence, and ultimately their lives.

Senior Savers is currently casting for their next episode and is interested in finding new stars. If someone from San Diego Oasis is selected, it will be featured on an upcoming episode.

Ensuring the safety of our members is always a top priority there at San Diego Oasis. With that in mind, we have had numerous instances recently where we found ourselves in need of a wheelchair. If you or someone you know has one that is no longer needed, would you consider donating it to San Diego Oasis?

If so, please contact Amy O'Connor at (619) 881-6262 or send her an email at amy@sandiegooasis.org. Thank you!
