Job Title: Connections Summer Associate VISTA

Full-Time (40 hours/week) for 8 weeks
Earn $2,000 plus a $1,200 scholarship for 8 weeks of service!
Must live in St. Louis area

To pilot the Oasis Connections technology literacy program as an intergenerational program with young adult instructors who can teach technology literacy classes for older adults in North St. Louis during summer of 2020. At least 50 digital newcomers in North City and County will be taught how to use the BJC Patient Portal. North St. Louis neighborhoods have been late to get high speed internet. Many people are just learning to use their home internet and need help learning to how to make device use easy. The Oasis Connections program helps older adults and other digital newcomers use technology more confidently and more safely.
